Sonny Cho
Sonny Cho has extensive experience in a wide variety of businesses: defence, security software, telecom, tech ventures, medtech, business services, real estate, retail and education. Sonny is a seasoned advisor in new ventures, business acquisitions & dispositions, capital sourcing, investments and international business development.
Sonny also serves as Strategic Advisor, Asia at Toronto Business Development Centre (www.tbdc.com), Senior Advisor at Insignary (www.insignary.com), and Senior Fellow at Global Public Affairs (www.globalpublicaffairs.ca).
His prior experience includes management and financial roles at Avantis Inc., Morguard Investments, Ivanhoe-Cambridge and Davnet Telecom. Sonny served on several volunteer organizations including the Board of the Ontario Place Corporation and he is currently serving as the CEO of the Canada Korea Business Council (www.ckbc.ca).
Sonny is a business graduate of University of Toronto.
