Sonny Cho

Sonny Cho has extensive experience in a wide variety of businesses: telecom, tech ventures, healthcare, business services, real estate, hospitality, retail and education. Sonny is a seasoned advisor in new ventures, business acquisitions & dispositions, capital sourcing, investments and international business development.

Sonny is also a Senior Fellow at Global Public Affairs (www.globalpublicaffairs.ca) , a national government relations and strategic communications firm in Canada, a Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Kingsdale Development (www.kingsdaledevelopment.com), a land and real estate development company, and a Senior Advisor at Hawkbridge Capital Partners (www.hawkbridgepartners.com), an independent investment banking firm specilizing in mid-market M&A, capital raise, financing and cross border transactions .

His prior experience includes management and financial roles at Avantis Inc., Morguard Investments, Ivanhoe-Cambridge and Davnet Telecom. Sonny served on several volunteer organizations including the Board of the Ontario Place Corporation and he is currently serving as the CEO of the Canada Korea Business Council (www.ckbc.ca).
