Thomas Klassen, PhD
Dr. Klassen is a professor of public policy and administration at York University. He is the author of many books including How to Succeed at University (and Get a Great Job!): Mastering the Critical Skills You Need for School, Work and Life. He has been Visiting Professor at Yonsei University for several years in the past decade. He has a PhD in organizational theory from the University of Toronto.
Lorna L. Wright, PhD
Dr. Lorna Wright is currently the Executive Director of the Centre for Global Enterprise and holds the EDC Professorship of International Business at the Schulich School of Business, York University. She was Associate Vice President International of York from 2009 to 2012. She is an academic entrepreneur, being the founding director (1992-2000) of the Centre for Canada-Asia Business Relations at Queen’s University, the co-founder (1997) of the Asian Business Consortium, which included four universities, and the inaugural director of the Centre for Global Enterprise at York University (2013). She spent fifteen years as an independent contractor working for various organizations in Thailand, Indonesia and Japan, and has done projects throughout Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Dr. Wright has a PhD from the University of Western Ontario; an MIM from Thunderbird, Arizona; an MA (Applied Linguistics) from the University of Essex, UK; a PGCE (Education in Developing Countries) from the University of London, UK; and a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research interests are in the areas of cross-cultural management, international negotiations, and conditions for SME business success internationally. Her geographic area of interest is the Pacific Basin region.
Chi-Guhn Lee, PhD
Dr. Lee is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. Applications from his research on decision making have been diverse from finance to supply chain management and to revenue management. He is a graduate of Seoul National University and received his PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and joined the University of Toronto in 2001.
Jong Soue You, PhD
Dr. You is a Professor Emeritus of Algoma University and also served as Academic Dean. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Shinhan Bank Canada. Dr. You is a graduate of Seoul National University and received his PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Jang Min Choi, M.Sc
Colonel Choi is a Professor at the National Security College, the Korea National Defense University. Professor Choi had served as Defence Attache of Republic of Korea to Canada and is a graduate of the Korea Air Force Academy and also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Oregon State University.
Tong Hahn, B.Eng., M.Sc
Mr. Hahn is an executive and entrepreneur in real estate development. He is currently the President of Canahans Company which is active in multi-residential and commercial real estate development. Mr. Hahn received B.Eng. from the University of Toronto and M. Sc. from the MIT.
Tae-Jin Kang, BA, M.Sc
Mr. Kang is a technology industry executive and entrepreneur. He is the president and CEO of Insignary and CEO of Secure Planet. In addition to founding a number of successful technology companies, Mr. Kang has held senior management positions with global technology leaders that include Korea Telecom and Samsung Electronics, among others.
Mr. Simonson is a technology industry executive and entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Glove Systems, Chairman of Golden Rock Products and the Founder of Coreworx. Mr. Simonson serves on several boards of public and private companies and organizations.
Steve Kim, B.Eng, MBA
Mr. Kim is a global industry executive. He is currently the EVP, Samsung C&T and CEO of Whessoe Engineering based in London UK. Mr. Kim’s global experience includes Saudi Aramco and Exxon Mobil. Mr. Kim holds a B.Eng. degree from the University of Alberta and MBA from the University of Hull.
David Moon, JD, MBA
Mr. Moon is a technology industry executive and entrepreneur. He is the Founder of Investintech.com Inc. and Wikala.com Inc. and VP, Strategy of Tevosol Technologies. Mr. Moon received BA in History from McGill University and JD (Juris Doctor) and MBA from the University of Toronto.
Judy Cho, BA
Ms. Cho is currently the Program Director of ALPHA Education. Ms. Cho has an extensive experience in educational programs development, event management and youth leadership camps. ALPHA Education is a non-profit, registered charity organization that promotes a critical-historical investigation of the events of World War II in Asia.
Paul Koidis, BA
Mr. Koidis is an education and public television professional. He is currently the CEO of RZR Public and Campaign Director, Canada for WNED TV / PBS. In the past, Mr. Koidis served as Associate Dean of Media, Arts and Design at Georgian College and Durham College.
Hera Lee-Moore, BA
Ms. Lee-Moore is a high school teacher with the York Region School Board. She is a guidance teacher at the Thornhill Secondary School.
